Cinergie – ISSN 2280-9481 is an open-access, peer-reviewed, class-A journal. Its first on-line issue first appeared in 2012, but the journal has been published in hard copy since 1999. Cinergie is a wide-ranging film journal, that aims to publish original articles about national and international cinema, building a bridge to related fields.

Cinergie is a wide-ranging film journal, that aims to publish original articles about national and international cinema, building a bridge to related fields.
We publish two issues per year, in Summer and in Winter. In each issue, at least half of the essays answer a call for papers, and focus on a single topic. The other articles are divided among sections devoted to different themes, highlighting the multidisciplinary approach of our project.

With this number 12 it lands on AlmaDL Journals service of the University of Bologna, maintaining its open access nature and its six-monthly frequency. The publication is strengthened thanks to a more reliable publication system and the most updated international standards for online publishing of academic journals in the humanities area.
