  Dr Matthew Melia is a senior lecturer at Kingston University, UK. He has published widely, particularly on the work of both Stanley Kubrick and Ken Russell, and he is currently writing a monograph of Stephen Volk and Ken Russell’s Gothic (1986).  He is co-editor of Anthony Burgess, Stanley Kubrick and A Clockwork Orange (2023) as well as The Jaws Book: New Perspectives on the Classic Summer Blockbuster (Bloomsbury 2020).  He is the editor of the forthcoming The Jurassic Park Book: New Perspectives on the Classic 1990s Blockbuster (Bloomsbury, 2023) and The Films of Ken Russell (EUP, 2022). Matt has particularly a research interest in archives, media archaeology and unmade cinema.
