• Giuliana Benvenuti Università di Bologna

  Giuliana Benvenuti is full Professor of Contemporary Italian Literature, at the University of Bologna, where she teaches Italian Studies, Literature and Media, and Contemporary Literary Culture. Her main research areas are literature, visual and transmedia studies, migration studies, global novel and culture, world literature. She coordinates the Master Degree in Italian Studies at the University of Bologna. She is representative for the Humanities in the University Senate and Vice-Director of the Department of Classical Philology and Italian Studies.

• Giacomo Manzoli Università di Bologna

  Giacomo Manzoli is full Professor of Film and Media Studies, at the University of Bologna, where he teaches History of Italian Cinema and Popular Visual Culture. He also taught, as visiting professor, at the University of Urbino, The Catholic University of Milan and Brown University. His main research areas are film history, film and literature, visual and transmedia studies, cultural studies and the public funding of cinema. He coordinated the Undergraduate Program in Music, Visual and Performing Arts and the Master Degree in Cinema, Television and Multimedia Production. He is representative for the Humanities in the University Senate and Head of the Department of the Arts of the University of Bologna.  

• Rita Monticelli Università di Bologna

  Rita Monticelli is full Professor of English Literature at the University of Bologna, where she teaches British and Postcolonial Studies, Gender Studies and History of Culture. Her research areas include literature and visual studies, gender criticism, utopia, dystopia and science fiction, trauma studies, global novel and culture. She coordinates the Erasmus Mundus joint Master Degree in Gender and Women’s Studies (GEMMA) at the University of Bologna, and the Centre for Utopian Research and Studies. She has carried our international research projects on gender and culture of equality. She is currently Delegate of the Rector for Equal Opportunities
